Walter is an organizational development practitioner, with a passion and expertise in diversity inclusion facilitation, team effectiveness and leadership development. His 20+ years of global experience have allowed him the opportunity to work with a variety of organizations in more than 30 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

 

Walter specializes not only in providing hands on advice with each partner about implementing sustainable diversity programs that are explicitly linked to their programmatic strategies, but also in delivering cultural diversity training that is unique and contextual for each client. Walter is seen as an effective leader with cultural sensitivity, exceptional facilitation, coaching, and investigative skills, and strong employee development.

 

Prior to consulting he worked at CARE USA. During his time there he served as CARE’s Senior Advisor for Country Office Institutional Change in Gender Equity and Diversity, as well as the Human Resources Regional Coordinator for CARE’s East Africa Region. Prior to CARE, Walter held several positions with General Electric as a member of the highly regarded Human Resources Leadership Program.

Walter received his BS Degree in Economics from Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) in Huntsville, Alabama and his MBA in International Human Resources from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Walter lives with his wife, Marla, and twin daughters in Atlanta, Georgia.
